About the Role
Drive the profitability of warranty policies across several major accounts, forecasting and managing performance for new and existing warranty lines. Play a key role in ensuring the warranty business consistently exceeds internal targets and delivers sustained, profitable results within a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of strategic Underwriting objectives within the FY27 OKRs
- Produce profitability and pricing projections for new and existing products, and provide rating and proposition rules to client-facing teams
- Lead regular modeling and reporting of underwriting performance, recommending actions in response to emerging trends
- Contribute underwriting inputs to financial forecasts, including annual budgets and interim reforecasts
- Set pricing structures that ensure products meet cost and margin targets through accurate costing and modeling
- Conduct advanced data analysis (SQL, Excel, Power BI) to identify trends and inform recommendations
- Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards
- Drive process improvements through automation and enhanced analytics
Requirements
- Experience in a commercially focused underwriting or analytical role
- Proficiency in data analysis/mining tools
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills
