About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the future of Membership and Identity experiences across Expedia Group brands. This role focuses on how users join, sign in, and manage their profiles, enabling seamless and personalized experiences across the ecosystem. You will operate across both traveler and partner identity, designing experiences that connect user data, preferences, and interactions to create trusted, scalable, and cohesive platform experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver end-to-end product design for a defined Membership and Identity experience area, driving clear customer and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to frame problems, explore solutions, and align on priorities.
- Translate insights into user-centered design decisions, producing flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Contribute to the Membership and Identity experience strategy, connecting work to broader customer journeys and design systems.
- Design experiences that balance trust, personalization, and usability for account management.
- Facilitate design workshops and critiques, communicate design rationale, and provide mentorship.
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Build familiarity with AI-driven systems and explore how identity signals can power adaptive user experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in product, UX, or interaction design, with a track record of shipping digital products or services at scale.
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end design within a product area.
- Effective collaboration in cross-functional teams with product, engineering, and research partners.
- Proven ability to translate research and data into user-centered solutions across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools and established design systems.
- Strong portfolio reflecting a high bar of visual craft and interaction design.
- Experience designing across platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
- Proficiency in design tools, with strength in prototyping and shipping high-quality experiences.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Experience designing complex experiences in large or matrixed organizations, ideally in membership, identity, account systems, or customer lifecycle domains.
- Track record of contributing to and extending design systems, championing accessibility standards, and delivering polished interaction design that scales.
- Skill in facilitating workshops, design sprints, or collaborative working sessions.
- Providing mentorship or guidance to other designers.
- Experience using data to shape design strategy, measure outcomes, and iterate on shipped experiences.
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows in the design process.
- Ability to apply AI/ML-enabled approaches to improve product experiences.

- New York: $187,000.00 - $261,500.00 (potential to $299,000.00)
- Chicago: $161,000.00 - $225,500.00 (potential to $257,500.00)
- Beverly Hills: $173,000.00 - $242,500.00 (potential to $277,000.00)
- Seattle: $173,000.00 - $242,500.00 (potential to $277,000.00)
- San Francisco: $187,000.00 - $261,500.00 (potential to $299,000.00)
