About the Role
Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) Promise Academy seeks an Elementary Art Teacher to inspire curiosity and foster mastery of grade-level content, with the ultimate goal of getting all scholars to and through college.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic, standards-aligned lesson plans.
- Assess student progress using various methods to personalize instruction.
- Establish and maintain high academic and behavioral standards.
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies to engage and challenge students.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and fellow educators.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Art teaching experience in an urban school setting.
- Valid New York State Art Teaching Certification preferred.

- $70,000 - $145,000 per year
