About the Role

Provide administrative support to the Client Advisory Services Team (CAST) and clients, critical in building, enhancing, and protecting client relationships. Proactively identify sales opportunities, including cross-selling to other divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate contact to engage proactively with clients/prospects through various communication channels, to begin or expand on existing relationships using existing contact programs.
  • Take inbound calls, responding empathetically to a variety of questions, assisting with financial solutions, and resolving client concerns at first point of contact.
  • Build positive rapport and maintain client relationships while working independently and as part of the team.
  • Provide centralized administrative support to Certified Financial Planner professionals and/or Senior Financial Advisors, including preparing files for compliance, scheduling and confirming appointments, and compiling client meeting documentation.
  • Prepare and submit documentation of financial/non-financial transactions, ensuring accurate completion and timely processing.
  • Process trades inbox and incoming client instructions while managing risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of client services experience, ideally in a financial services or sales environment.
  • Completion or working towards completing the CSC or IFC certification.
  • Post-secondary education in financial services or a related discipline.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts to meet clients’ needs within business operating hours.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of French is an asset.

Salary/Compensations

  • $50,000 - $55,000
  • Plus annual Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP) bonus
