About the Role
Become a Soccer Shots Coach and make a positive impact in your community by blending soccer, education, and fun into high-energy sessions for children ages 2-8 throughout the Queens area.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-energy, fun, age-appropriate soccer sessions for children ages 1.5-8.
- Model soccer skills and engage children in fitness activities.
- Adapt coaching methods to meet the needs of different age groups.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for children and sports.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Great energy, excellent communication skills, and responsible.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 1.5-8.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand, jog, and model skills.
- Must have or obtain state-required clearances.
- Willing to commute to Bayside/Flushing/Fresh Meadows/Jamaica/Elmhurst.
- Availability on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons is required.
