About the Role
Pulse is seeking an experienced Band 6 Specialist Podiatrist to join a Department in East London. This role involves assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with musculoskeletal, diabetic, and complex foot and lower limb conditions, working within specialist services and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist assessment and treatment for patients with complex MSK, diabetic, and high-risk foot conditions.
- Manage an autonomous caseload across hospital, community clinic, and domiciliary settings.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to Band 5 Podiatrists and junior members of the team.
- Contribute to service development, clinical audit, governance, and implementation of best practice.
- Deliver education and training to healthcare professionals, GPs, and allied health colleagues.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Podiatry.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Evidence of specialist knowledge and experience in MSK and diabetes.
- Substantial post-registration clinical experience within podiatry.
- Experience managing complex caseloads independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
