About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and service-driven professional to serve as Account Manager, responsible for the proactive execution and coordination of group sales support processes. Operating under the direction of the Vice President, Group Sales – Europe, the Account Manager ensures the efficient, accurate, and high-quality delivery of services to clients and member hotels, supporting the successful execution of regional and international group sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive sales support to Sales Directors across international markets in EMEIA.
  • Maintain accurate sales tracking, sales account management, and database records through effective use of all PTG sales tools and systems including CRM, https://meetings.preferredhotels.com, and brand member portals.
  • Assist in monitoring the Group Desk Inbox and provide minimal support to Group Sales Directors in Europe as needed.
  • Ensure detailed and professional response to all client/member hotel group sales requests.
  • Distribute group leads to member hotels and manage group lead profiles in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Follow up with member hotels within 48 hours of non-response.
  • Assist with report generation as needed.
  • Provide timely and thorough communications with clients, sales directors, and with hotel members regarding program information on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Qualifications are typically acquired through completion of a university or college degree and/or relevant experience in the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong discipline and structure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Previous sales administration experience within luxury hotels is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
  • Perseverance and resilience, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong people and service orientation, thriving in a highly interactive role that requires collaboration, relationship-building, and balancing multiple priorities with a natural tendency to support others.
  • Collaborative and process-driven approach, working comfortably within established policies and involving others appropriately in decision-making to build consensus.
  • Open, clear, and persuasive communication, enabling effective coordination and follow-through in a support-focused role.
  • Team-first mindset, leading by example, sharing knowledge, and providing friendly but consistent follow-up to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Experience in a global sales office structure and supporting sales success behind the scenes.
  • Ability to ensure requests, leads, and communications are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with established standards.
  • Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment where accuracy, consistency, and clear procedures are essential to supporting complex group sales activity across multiple regions and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, service-oriented setting that requires close coordination with sales leaders, hotel partners, and clients in support of regional and international business objectives.
  • Ability to bring organization and reliability to complex activities, comfortably managing multiple priorities while working within established guidelines and best practices.
