About the Role
The Pantry Service Representative is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering food and pantry supplies to various clients or locations as part of the Agora Refreshments Customer Success Team. This role involves the transportation, loading, unloading, tracking and merchandising of pantry goods, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Transport a variety of pantry items to designated locations.
- Efficiently load and unload pantry supplies, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Follow designated delivery routes and schedules, adjusting as needed.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately according to orders and verify quantities.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on Agora Supplied machines.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Follow all safety regulations, including proper lifting, safe driving, and food handling.
- Help maintain the assigned delivery vehicle's cleanliness and report any issues.
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and inventory logs.
- Communicate with the Customer Success Manager and Route Support Team regarding any delays or issues.
- Fulfill stock levels of coffee, snacks, beverages, and related products at customer sites.
- Service and clean coffee systems and related equipment.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and transporting large totes of product weighing 40-90 lbs frequently.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles, including vans or box trucks.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a foodservice environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (Frequently lifting 50 lbs or more).
- Ability to perform tasks that may involve bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize deliveries, and meet deadlines.
- Accuracy in checking orders and completing necessary paperwork or logs.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
