About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Receptionist Military Police Experience in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use clear communication and technology to support access control and respond to security-related needs.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of technology and media facilities, including business areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
Monitor and report unusual activity, facility conditions, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and communication with appropriate personnel during routine and emergency situations.

Requirements

Have 3+ years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, Armed Security Professional, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
