About the Role
The Onsite Logistics Specialist will oversee all operations for an assigned site or area, providing tooling and material support to field personnel. This role is responsible for coordinating deliveries, managing inventories, and optimizing efficiency through internal collaboration to deliver extraordinary service.
Responsibilities
- Performs equipment operation duties and material handling.
- Communicates effectively with internal customers (FTI Field Members and Supervisors).
- Communicates issues to OLL and crews efficiently.
- Leads a team of 1-2 members in an area of operation.
- Serves as a direct point of contact to coordinate needs directly to certain electrical crews.
- Directs material deliveries to the proper location onsite.
- Helps manage stock levels onsite and the inventory tracker for 2-3 crews.
- Executes and closes out onsite requests.
- Is proficient in equipment operation and helps manage the maintenance and tracking of equipment.
- Conducts daily walkthroughs to monitor stock, cleanliness, and crew needs.
- Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of logistics experience.
- Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background and drug test.
Skills
- ASCM Warehouse certification preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Rigging certification preferred
- Lull certification preferred
