The Moscone Center has an immediate opening for an Elevator Operator to operate freight elevators on the loading docks.

Operates elevator to transport materials and equipment between floors on loading docks.
Moves control levers or pushes buttons to control elevator movement.
Opens and closes the safety gate door of the elevator at each floor where a stop is made.
Ensures all passengers exit the elevator safely before proceeding to close the doors when transporting passengers.
Informs users about load drop-off locations and assists them in reaching the correct destination/floor.
Reports any elevator malfunction to the supervisor.
Follows all provided safety procedures, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Notifies security and supervisor immediately when unauthorized persons enter the elevator.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

High School Graduate or GED.
Dependable and reliable.
Must be courteous and friendly.
Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Able to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
Ability to follow instructions.
Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Requires standing and sitting throughout the shift.
Must be flexible to work any shifts, days, and hours, including holidays and weekends.
Morning availability Monday - Friday is preferred, with occasional night shifts offered.
