About the Role

The Consulting Marketing Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for RSM’s Consulting Services Line-of-business. You will serve as a strategic leader and part of the Consulting Marketing Leadership team. Responsibilities will include overseeing market definition, planning, strategy, brand management, and marketing/sales integration. Key qualifications include strategic thinking, experience in growth strategies, and strong team management skills.

Responsibilities

Understand the business strategy and growth objectives of RSM’s Consulting Services business.
Guide teams in the development of marketing strategies that support business growth and align to key market opportunities as defined by the business strategy.
Serve as a strategic advisor and leader across all Industries/Service Lines covered.
Set clear expectations related to the level of marketing enablement provided to the business and their practices.
Coach and manage the team, championing them, operating through delegation, working with leadership on succession and growth plans, and ensuring a fair and balanced workload.

Requirements

Deep understanding of various competencies related to the marketing of consulting services.
Understanding of the needs of key audiences within the firm’s target marketing, including CFO’s and CEOs.
Understanding of key industries that are core target markets of the firm.
Minimum 10 years marketing experience (in a large professional services or similar organization) with proven abilities to collect, synthesize and manage market/client data, and develop and implement direct marketing, advertising, PR, social media, branding and internet marketing initiatives.
Minimum of 5 years managing others in a highly dynamic environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to motivate and deliver tough prescriptive messages.

$158,600 - $281,600
