About the Role
The Consulting Marketing Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for RSM’s Consulting Services Line-of-business. You will serve as a strategic leader and part of the Consulting Marketing Leadership team. Responsibilities will include overseeing market definition, planning, strategy, brand management, and marketing/sales integration. Key qualifications include strategic thinking, experience in growth strategies, and strong team management skills.
Responsibilities
- Understand the business strategy and growth objectives of RSM’s Consulting Services business.
- Guide teams in the development of marketing strategies that support business growth and align to key market opportunities as defined by the business strategy.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and leader across all Industries/Service Lines covered.
- Set clear expectations related to the level of marketing enablement provided to the business and their practices.
- Coach and manage the team, championing them, operating through delegation, working with leadership on succession and growth plans, and ensuring a fair and balanced workload.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of various competencies related to the marketing of consulting services.
- Understanding of the needs of key audiences within the firm’s target marketing, including CFO’s and CEOs.
- Understanding of key industries that are core target markets of the firm.
- Minimum 10 years marketing experience (in a large professional services or similar organization) with proven abilities to collect, synthesize and manage market/client data, and develop and implement direct marketing, advertising, PR, social media, branding and internet marketing initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years managing others in a highly dynamic environment.

- $158,600 - $281,600
