Responsibilities
- Provides quality nursing patient care to Urgent Care patients under the supervision of providers and Practice Management.
- Assesses, plans, gives, and documents nursing care.
- Assists the provider with patients, including preparing examination rooms and patients for visits by taking vital signs and explaining procedures.
- Administers medications and injections as prescribed and assists with special procedures under the direction of the provider.
- Completes all results and patient call backs within the scope of practice, following up with patients and providers as appropriate.
- Assists in the development and implementation of clinical nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse - New York license required.
- Must maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Professionally mature, energetic, and creative individual demonstrating leadership qualities.
- 2-4 years of recent nursing experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of family practice, urgent care, acute care, occupational medicine, or outpatient care nursing experience.
- Experience using an EMR preferred.

Salary/Compensations
- $35.00-46.00/hour
