About the Role

Saint Joseph’s Medical Center is seeking Full-Time and/or Part-Time Physical Therapists to join our School-Based Rehabilitation Program for the 2026–2027 school year. Physical Therapists will provide intervention and evaluation for children in schools and/or homes, document sessions and progress, prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and maintain communication with parents, guardians, and teachers.

Responsibilities

Provide intervention and evaluation for children in schools and/or in their homes.
Document sessions and progress.
Prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians and teachers.
Evaluate, treat, and maintain appropriate documentation on school-based children.
Attend all mandatory and required SBRP and district meetings and trainings.
Communicate with parents, school personnel, Board of Education and School-Based Rehab Program.

Experience Level

At least one year experience in pediatrics, specifically with school-age populations is preferred.

Education Level

Bachelor of Science, Masters, or Doctorate degree from a Physical Therapy program.
New York State Physical Therapy License required.

Salary/Compensations

$87,000.00 annual salary paid over 12 months (26 pay periods) while following the Yonkers Public School calendar for full-time positions.
TBD on hours worked - fee based for part-time positions.

Benefits

35 hours work per week for full-time.
2 personal days and 8 Safe & Sick days annually for full-time.
Health Benefits after 3 month probation period for full-time.
Eligible for additional compensation during summer months, after hours, and vacation days for full-time.
Daily Schedule for full-time usually 7:30am-3:30pm.
