About the Role

Join a growing team focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues within CC&L Financial Group affiliates' investments. This role supports active ownership activities like company engagements, voting, and collaborative initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation, coordination, and delivery of stewardship, engagement, and responsible investing reporting.
  • Prepare content and responses for RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and consultant databases.
  • Maintain organized records of stewardship activities, reporting inputs, voting information, and supporting documentation.
  • Collect, organize, and validate information from internal teams and external service providers for accurate reporting.
  • Support research and analysis related to ESG and stewardship topics.
  • Collaborate with investment teams, affiliates, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent reporting.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in an institutional investment firm, responsible investing, sustainability reporting, investment operations, or a related field.
  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Sustainability, or another related discipline.
  • Genuine interest in the investment industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, spreadsheets, reporting templates, and supporting documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex information clearly, accurately, and concisely for different audiences.
  • Sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic individual eager to improve processes and implement creative solutions.
  • Experience or familiarity with UN PRI, TCFD disclosure, stewardship reporting, or other responsible investing frameworks is considered an asset.
  • Completion of relevant industry courses would also be an asset.
