About the Role
Oversees the operation of nursing units and provides clinical supervision to employees, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure
- BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
- CPI obtained within 90 days of hire
- One year of nursing experience
- Minimum of one (1) year LTC experience and previous supervisory experience preferred

- Ability to collaborate effectively with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services and customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage self professionally in stressful situations
- Ability to facilitate clinical management, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling
- Familiarity with NYSDOH requirements
- Demonstrated excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills
- Computer literacy
Experience Level

Education Level
- Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing
- BSN preferred
