About the Role
This highly anticipated concept will feature culinary leadership by Daniel Ontiveros, mixology by Francesco Lafranconi, and a premium, immersive design by Rockwell Group led by David Rockwell. We are now hiring Front of House PM & Brunch professional Food Runners to join a restaurant built on craft, hospitality, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Polishing utensils, steak knives, and plates, and restocking runner and kitchen stations.
- Assuring guests have everything they need on the tables after delivery of food.
- Ensuring the timely delivery of all food to the guests.
- Announcing the dish and describing the ingredients and preparation in detail to the guests.
- Inquiring about any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest served.
- Performing tableside service and French serving.
- Protecting the establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health & Company sanitation standards.
- Communicating the needs of the guests to Front of House and Back of House support staff, managers, and chefs.
- Properly setting up and breaking down the runner station and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
- Attending and participating in daily pre-service meetings.
- Updating knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Working as part of a team and providing help and support to all employees.
- Maintaining professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
- Anticipating and accommodating the needs of the guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintaining general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.
Requirements
- Previous hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.
- Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
- Exposure to hot kitchen elements of cleaning materials.
- Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, brunch, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
