About the Role

The Director, Product Enablement is responsible for overseeing the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of technology delivery and application support. This role ensures alignment of application services with business objectives, maximizes operational efficiency, and promotes excellence in technology-enabled service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Product Enablement.
  • Champion initiatives that optimize technology solutions and application support services.
  • Establish performance metrics and targets, assessing progress and adjusting strategy.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and services.
  • Embed continuous improvement practices in delivery and support.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on service levels, incident trends, and root cause analysis.
  • Lead, coach, and develop diverse delivery and support teams.
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and promote professional development.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative culture.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with business partners, technology leaders, and vendors.
  • Act as a key point of contact for escalations and critical incidents.
  • Engage with executives to provide insights, recommendations, and status updates.
  • Ensure the implementation of robust delivery frameworks and methodologies.
  • Ensure resource allocation and capacity planning support delivery needs.
  • Drive the adoption of automation and digital solutions.
  • Oversee the support and maintenance of mission-critical applications.
  • Lead the incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Implement strategies to enhance user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to technology delivery and application support.
  • Lead audit and review processes.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and best practices.
  • Champion the adoption of new tools, platforms, and techniques.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Agile) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Proven track record of driving results through others.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-impact outcomes under pressure.
  • Experience implementing process automation, digital transformation, and technology innovation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements relevant to technology operations.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology delivery, application support, or related roles.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale technology teams and initiatives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Expertise in delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps) and IT service management frameworks (ITIL, COBIT).
  • Experience in investment technology platforms such as Charles River, SimCorp and Treasury platforms highly desired.
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located.
