About the Role
This position ensures the highest compliance with Medication Management regulations, including CMS, JCAHO, DEA, BOP, and USP. Activities focus on direct and indirect patient care, ensuring correct medication preparation and administration. Support may also include inventory, purchasing, 340B, financial pathways, problem-solving, software management, and independent workload management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure highest compliance with Medication Management regulations (CMS, JCAHO, DEA, BOP, USP).
- Provide direct and indirect patient care.
- Ensure correct medication preparation and administration.
- Support inventory, purchasing, and 340B processes.
- Engage in financial pathway support.
- Participate in critical problem-solving.
- Utilize software knowledge and management skills.
- Demonstrate initiative and manage independent workloads.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician licensure required (or eligibility to obtain within six months of employment).
- One year of relevant healthcare experience required in lieu of licensure at time of hire.
- This is a bargaining union position.
