About the Role

As an Information Technology Specialist (ITS-1) at Anderson Center for Autism, you'll play an essential role in supporting the technology systems that keep our educational, residential, clinical, and administrative programs running smoothly. You'll help ensure that staff across the agency have the reliable tools and resources they need to provide exceptional services. As part of Anderson's Information Technology team, you'll contribute to a secure, efficient, and innovative technology environment while building valuable experience across multiple areas of IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to agency staff by responding to service requests, troubleshooting issues, and delivering exceptional customer service across educational, residential, clinical, and administrative settings.
  • Assist in supporting the reliable and secure operation of the agency's computer, network, telephone, and email infrastructure.
  • Manage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets while ensuring requests are documented, categorized, and completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Diagnose hardware, software, network, and user-access issues by communicating with staff, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Assist with escalated technical issues, contribute to problem resolution efforts, and support projects that improve technology services throughout the organization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to support requests, system configurations, technology assets, inventories, equipment installations, and project activities.
  • Help coordinate and maintain agency-wide technology inventories, ensuring equipment is properly tagged, tracked, and assigned.
  • Assist in evaluating hardware and technology needs, providing recommendations regarding equipment replacement, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, knowledge-base resources, standard operating procedures, and best practices that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in technology projects, implementations, upgrades, and departmental initiatives that support Anderson's strategic goals.
  • Continue developing technical knowledge through training, professional development opportunities, and ongoing learning related to emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Help create a technology environment that empowers employees to focus on what matters most: supporting individuals with autism and enhancing their quality of life.

Salary/Compensations
