About the Role
This role supports the Front of House (FOH) team by managing all take-out, delivery, and to-go orders, including order entry, packaging, and labeling.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute all Uber Eats, Caviar, Post-Mates, and in-house/phone take-out orders using the POS system and delivery order iPads.
- Handle guest order issues with management direction and communicate with delivery customer service.
- Maintain stock of appropriate bags, containers, and labels in the to-go area.
- Assist with polishing glassware and flatware when needed.
- Keep the to-go station organized and tidy.
- Stock and restock to-go containers, bags, stickers, and labels.
- Conduct thorough breakdown and cleaning of the to-go area at the close of shift.
- Notify Chef or General Manager of any supply shortages.
- Assist with support duties in other sections as directed to ensure excellent guest service.
- Acknowledge guests with eye contact and a smile, answer questions or find appropriate staff to assist.
- Enter orders into the POS system.
- Package and label orders properly.
Requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team, work quickly, and follow directions.
- Ability to communicate and understand direction in English to ensure workplace safety.
- Ability to understand, respond, and engage with co-workers, managers, and guests in English.
- Very basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills are welcomed.
- Time management and ability to work under pressure to manage high volume production.
- Active listening and learning skills.
- Reading and speaking comprehension skills.
- Discipline to follow set standards.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Must submit satisfactory proof of employment authorization and identity to complete Form I-9 within 72 hours of commencing work.
