About the Role
BRC staff help New Yorkers experiencing homelessness reclaim their lives by providing a hand up, offering opportunities for health and self-sufficiency, and restoring hope and dignity. Responsibilities
- Monitor building entrance and make rounds to ensure security of premises.
- Answer phones.
- Document observations in a logbook.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Good reading, writing, and verbal skills.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- CPR training certification or willingness to take a training class in CPR.
- Vaccination preferred but not required.
