About the Role

The Director of Recruitment provides strategic and operational leadership for BRC's Recruitment Department, ensuring the agency attracts, hires, and retains qualified talent. This position develops and executes innovative recruitment strategies, leveraging technology and analytics to improve hiring outcomes and build sustainable talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy aligned with organizational staffing needs.
  • Lead the continuous evolution of BRC's recruitment model to improve hiring outcomes and streamline processes.
  • Partner with senior leadership to anticipate workforce needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Recruitment Department.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Recruitment Department, managing requisitions from start to finish.
  • Monitor recruiter performance, hiring activity, and vacancy trends to ensure timely hiring.
  • Ensure each requisition has a defined recruitment strategy and maintain hiring manager engagement.
  • Continuously evaluate recruitment workflows and implement improvements for efficiency.
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of recruitment technology, including AI tools.
  • Manage and refine AI interview workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
  • Identify and implement innovative recruitment solutions to improve efficiency and candidate quality.
  • Stay current on emerging recruitment technologies and recommend enhancements.
  • Develop long-term sourcing strategies and partnerships with educational and community organizations.
  • Expand grassroots recruiting efforts to build diverse talent pipelines.
  • Create recruitment marketing initiatives to increase awareness of career opportunities.
  • Use recruitment data to identify trends, remove operational barriers, and improve department performance.
  • Present recruitment updates, strategic initiatives, and workforce planning recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of progressive recruitment leadership experience.
  • Experience leading high-volume recruitment operations in a complex, multi-site organization.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing recruitment metrics, dashboards, workforce analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, develop staff, and drive operational excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
  • May require travel between BRC locations, participation in recruitment events, and occasional evening or weekend events.
  • Requires regular use of recruitment technology, applicant tracking systems, reporting tools, and other digital platforms.
