About the Role
This role involves patient evaluation and treatment, medication management, and staff training within a community-focused organization dedicated to helping individuals experiencing homelessness. You will contribute to critical committees and provide essential healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Patient evaluation and treatment
- Medication management
- Case conferencing
- In-service training to staff
- Provide input into the incident review committee
- Provide input into the training committee
- Provide input into outside conferences
- Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
- NYS Certified psychiatric nurse practitioner
- Prior experience working with a MICA population
- CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR
