About the Role
BRC staff help New Yorkers experiencing homelessness reclaim their lives by providing a hand up, offering opportunities for health and self-sufficiency, and restoring hope and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and programming.
- Assist with development and implementation of program goals and objectives to deliver services to mentally ill clients.
- Manage daily operations, monitor, schedule, and evaluate clinical staff.
- Maintain progress reports.
- Assist with referral, intake, and discharge of clients.
- Oversee/manage assigned apartments.
- Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BA required.
- MSW or related degree preferred.
- Supervisory and residential experience preferred.
- Experience with MICA population strongly preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
