About the Role
This position assists the Property Manager in effectively managing the property and assumes the Property Manager's responsibilities in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate and organized resident records
- Posts all rents, deposits, fees, and daily bank deposit
- Prepares and gives residents 90-60-30-day renewal notices
- Conducts recertification and background checks
- Issues appropriate notices for late payments, evictions, and NSF checks
- Prepares and updates reports as delegated by Property Manager
- Greets prospective residents, shows property, and performs all leasing functions
- Handles calls from residents and vendors as delegated
- Accepts service requests and routes them to maintenance
- Inspects move outs and vacant units as requested by Property Manager
- Works cooperatively with Resident Services staff to support resident housing stability
Requirements
- Sound judgment to resolve problems and make routine recommendations
- Requires little to no instruction on routine work, and general instruction on new assignments
- Onsite software experience
- Fair Housing training
- Ability to work in an environment with occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials
- Willingness to clean up bodily fluids with appropriate training and personal protective equipment
