About the Role
This onsite supervisor role has the potential to evolve into a manager position. It is responsible for providing day-to-day direction to staff, clients, and volunteers across Coldwater House & Rectory Program, aligning with the mission "Restoring hope and changing lives". The ideal candidate will reflect the core values of Open Door Mission: Faith, Family, Compassion, Community, and Stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Leads each shift in a respectful manner according to ODM policies and program goals.
- Ensures proper staff scheduling and fills in as needed to maintain 24/7 coverage.
- Communicates clearly with staff regarding resident and community issues.
- Reports staff or resident issues using documentation systems.
- Promptly reports emergency concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Places food orders, supply requests, and maintenance orders.
- Oversees volunteer activities and delegates tasks.
- Provides training to new staff and ongoing coaching to existing staff.
- Facilitates monthly house meetings and bi-monthly supervision with staff.
- May facilitate group prayer or devotionals.
- Leads client intake and assessments, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Maintains relationships with the community for networking.
- Calculates and collects program fees.
- Completes and submits the FHLS monthly sheet.
- Facilitates groups on substance use and/or behavioral health needs.
- Completes or delegates room inspections and drug screens for clients.
- Identifies client goals in collaboration with the client.
- Completes or delegates referrals for clients seeking housing, employment, or social services.
Requirements
- Ministry-minded Christian with a commitment to and passion for Changing Lives and Restoring Hope.
- Progressive and current experience with case management in trauma services or residential programs.
- Valid New York state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
