About the Role
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at The Arc Wayne will provide clinical consultation and speech therapy services for the Article 16 Clinic in Orleans/Genesee County.
Responsibilities
- Researches and recommends speech communication devices and other related technology.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding information regarding service recipients.
- Completes timely and accurate service documentation as per clinic and agency policies and procedures to include; progress notes, evaluations, treatment plans, etc...
- May provide clinical supervision and oversight to unlicensed fellowship students in the area of Speech Pathology.
- Ensures that conduct while on duty is consistent with the Agency's culture, mission, values, procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Effective time management and organization skills to meet deadlines.
- Responsible and looking to make a difference in the community.
- New York State (NYS) Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Current, valid New York State Driver License.
