About the Role

Centric Brands is looking for a dynamic, creative, and resourceful Production Coordinator to join its team. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands.

Responsibilities

  • Obtains pricing working with Production Manager.
  • Manages order placement, execution, and follow-up of manufacturing orders to drive the on-time delivery of quality, profitable goods.
  • Evaluates and manages vendor performance based on purchase order history of on-time delivery, lead time, quality acceptance rates, fulfillment, and margins.
  • Streamlines the factory base for maximum performance of product execution and company deliverables.
  • Obtains pricing of owned categories to ensure profitability and meet margin goals.
  • Ensures on-time placement of final buys.
  • Assists in writing of POs with Production Assistant when necessary.
  • Tracks factory WIP and production from handoff to final deliveries and ensures all necessary approvals have been obtained.
  • Manages production delivery with Logistics and Operations, troubleshooting potential disruptions.
  • Ensures systems are updated in real-time with information.
  • Manages non-compliance/claims chargebacks with vendors.
  • Manages the coordination of customs classification with Imports.
  • Troubleshoots quality issues with factories, vendors, and teams.
  • Partners with cross-functional peers (Sales, Merchandising, Operations), as well as vendors and factories to ensure on-time flow of goods relative to orders and anticipated demand criteria.
  • Coordinates communication and follow-up with internal and external customers and contacts regarding production, including suppliers and vendors.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.
  • Contributes positively to team dynamics and manages up and across where necessary.
  • Attracts, develops, and retains talent.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and coaches performance of staff for bench strength and succession planning.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in product development and/or production.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and global partners/vendor networks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • SAP, PLM systems a plus.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated understanding of product development and production processes, with a strong sense of merchandising and customer needs.
  • Ability to think both strategically and operationally, balancing big-picture goals with executional detail.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.
