About the Role
Lambda is seeking an IT Technical Program Manager to build and scale internal systems, partnering across departments to implement tools, automate workflows, and ensure data integrity. This role is crucial for driving business transformation and managing a portfolio of enterprise systems, integrations, and data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program management for major system implementations (ERP, procurement, EPM, HRIS, treasury, identity), coordinating internal teams, partners, and vendors.
- Manage the Business Technology roadmap, including portfolio planning, intake, prioritization, and surfacing dependencies.
- Establish lightweight portfolio governance with stage gates, RAID logs, and a portfolio health view.
- Manage the SOX ITGC readiness workstream, tracking control design and remediation, coordinating evidence requests, and reporting status.
- Build and operate the program operating rhythm, including status reporting, steering committees, and executive readouts.
- Design and operationalize formal change management for Business Technology systems.
- Drive cutover and go-live planning, including UAT tracking, readiness reviews, and post-launch retrospectives.
- Manage implementation partner and vendor delivery, including SOW milestones and burn tracking.
- Communicate program status clearly to executive audiences (COO, CFO, Audit Committee).
- Improve program delivery through AI-enabled operations, templates, playbooks, and tooling.
Requirements
- 8+ years in technical program management, with at least 4 years running enterprise application or business systems programs.
- Experience carrying at least two large implementations end to end as the program owner, including cutover and hypercare.
- Technical fluency in systems architecture, integrations, and data flows.
- Experience operating in a SOX or audit-facing environment.
- Ability to run a tight operating cadence with a single source of truth and current RAID logs.
- Comfortable defining process from zero and providing intake, prioritization, and delivery discipline.
- Exceptional upward and sideways communication skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and velocity, able to re-plan without drama.
- Enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude.
