About the Role
Flex is seeking a Functional Test Engineer in Austin, TX, to be a key technical lead for a new liquid-cooled server rack product line. This role involves driving the launch and support of high-power AI/ML, GPU, and hardware accelerator-based server, storage, and networking platforms. You will own test process development for full rack assembly and integration, ensuring quality, performance, and safety across NPI and sustaining production. Responsibilities include designing procedures, automating test execution, analyzing data for continuous improvement, and leveraging liquid cooling expertise.

Requirements
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in failure analysis and system-level testing within a high-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash), advanced Linux command-line operations, and hardware/network troubleshooting.
- Expertise in computer and server hardware/software integration, diagnostics, and repair, particularly within a manufacturing or high-level assembly environment.
- Experience with DAQs and sensors (thermocouples, flow meters, pressure sensors).
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and its application to data-driven troubleshooting and decision-making.
- Ability to train others on Linux fundamentals.
