About the Role
The Global Account Director is accountable for developing and implementing an account plan which will delight clients and ensure a healthy long-term relationship. This executive leader anticipates client needs, delivers to exceed key performance indicators, and builds financial plans to maximize revenue and profitability. The Account Director builds and sustains high-performing teams, drives operational excellence, and keeps employees engaged. They understand the firm's strategy and goals and translate them into business opportunities. This is the top leadership role on the account.
Responsibilities
- Create an account plan which ensures alignment of objectives, drives results and helps to secure a future with no-bid contract renewals
- Drive account growth by articulating our value proposition and ensuring expansion of services provided across Integrated Facility Management (IFM), Property and Development Services (PDS), lease administration, and subtenant management
- Establish outstanding relationships with key stakeholders by soliciting feedback and excelling at world-class client service delivery
- Serve as the primary relationship owner between the firm and its strategic client, cultivating a long-term, mutually beneficial business to business partnership across a breadth of services
- Lead evaluation and integration of complex technology platforms across service delivery and workforce management systems, partnering with client and internal technical teams to manage risk and ensure compliance
- Drive global alignment across JLL and client stakeholders on major strategic decisions, including cost optimization initiatives and the development of consistent operating standards
- Ensure highest qualified candidate is hired for all roles on the account
- Build actionable and measurable career development plans for all direct reports
- Lead organizational transformation initiatives, guiding teams and stakeholders through structural or operating-model change to improve performance and service delivery
- Advance the firm's diversity and inclusion priorities with purposeful and focused talent planning
- Present an annual commercial plan which includes key objectives, client satisfaction results, summary of value-add activities, and outlines targeted expansion plans
- Proactively manage the account budget and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue
- Mitigate risk for the firm by ensuring Accounts Receivable is maintained below 60 days payable
Requirements
- Seasoned leader with 10+ years of Commercial Real Estate executive leadership experience across multiple service lines, including facility management, property and development services, portfolio services, lease administration, and/or subtenant management
- Proven capabilities in developing outsourced solutions for global, Fortune 500 companies across Integrated Facility Management, Property and Development Services, and portfolio management
- Extensive experience hiring, training, and retaining large teams (100+) of talent in a client service environment (preferably outsourced)
- Has proactively managed a budget and P&L
- Bachelor's degree with a broad range of business experience
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
