About the Role

Zinc is scaling its commercial motion and seeking its first dedicated enablement hire to build the function from the ground up. This role will work closely with the Head of Sales to create material and coaching that helps every rep sell Zinc's story consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Build AE onboarding and ramp, including product knowledge, ICP, objection handling, narrative, and competitive positioning.
  • Support SDR/AE/AM consistency by ensuring pre-sales and post-sales messaging alignment across the customer lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product to create sales content such as first-call decks, pipeline collateral, one-pagers, and battlecards.
  • Run call reviews, skill assessments, and refreshers for ongoing team improvement.
  • Work with RevOps and GTM engineering to optimize the sales stack for user experience.
  • Conduct gap analysis with reps and managers to identify enablement focus areas.
  • Deliver enablement through a mix of live training, async modules, job aids, and peer coaching.
  • Track enablement impact against quota attainment, ramp time, and win rate, reporting results to Sales leadership quarterly.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in sales enablement, sales ops, or closing sales experience at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Ability to build clear, compelling narratives.
  • Proficiency in replicating good visual design.
  • Curiosity and passion for understanding people and industries.
  • Familiarity with standard sales playbooks (e.g., MEDDPICC).
  • Comfortable designing and delivering training.
  • Data literacy, including pulling HubSpot/Gong data to identify sales performance issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
