About the Role

Auxly is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate to join our growing team in Leamington, Ontario. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the quality and compliance of our cannabis manufacturing operations. Working closely with Cultivation, Post-Harvest and Quality teams, you'll help ensure every product meets regulatory requirements, internal standards, and customer expectations before reaching the market. We're willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials and complete quality checks before they're approved for use.
  • Support cultivation and post-harvest readiness through line clearance and cleaning verification activities.
  • Perform in-process testing and product sampling to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
  • Review cultivation and batch records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and escalate quality concerns, non-conformances, or compliance issues.
  • Monitor the implementation of approved process changes and new product launches.
  • Work within quality management and enterprise software systems to document and track activities.
  • Assist with investigations related to deviations, complaints, and quality events.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of SOPs, forms, and work instructions.
  • Participate in internal and external audits alongside Quality leadership.
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, manufacturing, or a related production environment.
  • Post-secondary education in Science, Quality Management, Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures consistently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
