About the Role

Via is transforming transportation globally and has acquired Citymapper to enhance its TransitTech solutions. As a Strategic Partnerships Principal, you will lead business development in Northern Europe, establishing revenue-generating partnerships with diverse clients and demonstrating Via's value proposition. Your work will directly contribute to more efficient, sustainable, and equitable transportation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise on Via's solutions and collaborate cross-functionally to drive product and operational enhancements.
  • Navigate the market's buying landscape, researching, roadmapping, and building compelling, data-driven business cases.
  • Lead full-cycle sales efforts across the UK & Nordics territory, contributing to improved regional transit.
  • Act as a thought partner to prospective clients, educating, consulting, and developing regional transit plans and funding mechanisms.
  • Champion Via's mission and technology by leading local marketing campaigns, speaking at conferences, and providing thought leadership.
  • Map the category and industry for the region to understand market, product, and pricing trends, translating insights into growth strategy recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in client-facing roles.
  • Experience selling or interacting with the public sector is a plus.
  • Expertise in prospecting, cross-selling, and developing relationships with senior-level officials and executives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial intuition and solid judgment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Skills

  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian) is a big plus.
