About the Role
Cohere is seeking individuals passionate about building AI systems to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI models and products, specifically focusing on our North AI workspace platform. You will develop autonomous agents, write efficient code for low-resource environments, and collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art AI techniques, all while prioritizing security and privacy.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features for North, our AI workspace platform
- Develop autonomous agents that talk to sensitive enterprise data
- Write and ship minimal code that runs in low-resource environments, and has highly stringent deployment mechanisms
- Collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art models and techniques
Requirements
- Shipped (lots of) fullstack code (Python and React) in production
- Excel in fast-paced environments and can execute while priorities and objectives are a moving target
- Worked in both large enterprises and startups
- Strong coding abilities and are comfortable working across the stack
- Able to read and understand, and even fix issues outside of the main code base
- Built and deployed extremely performant client-side or server-side RAG/agentic applications to millions of users
- Love art and have an eye for design and a creative mindset - A plus, if you have a portfolio, GitHub or other showcases of your projects
