About the Role
Seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with outpatient experience to provide evaluation and treatment services. The position will primarily support outpatient care, with inpatient coverage required on designated weekends.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and provide individualized treatment programs based on patient needs.
- Schedule patients for evaluations and treatments.
- Educate patients, families, and staff regarding communication and swallowing disorders.
- Prepare clinical reports and communicate with referral sources and treatment agencies.
- Participate in program development, departmental initiatives, and community programs.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow professional standards.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology required.
- Current New York State Speech-Language Pathology license required.
- Clinical certification in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
- Outpatient experience preferred.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance.
