About the Role

Assist with the preparation of produce for mealtime service, including cooking breakfast items, preparing vegetables, and making sandwiches. Ensure kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned according to schedules, adhering to health and safety regulations. Properly store all goods and cleaning materials, and ensure all crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment are cleaned to the required standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of produce for mealtime service, including cooking breakfast items, preparing vegetables, and making sandwiches.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned according to schedules.
• Adhere to statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations.
• Ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable goods, and cleaning materials.
• Ensure all crockery, cutlery, and drinking vessels are thoroughly cleaned.
• Ensure all pots, pans, cooking utensils, and service counter containers are cleaned and stored correctly.

Requirements

• Ability to be organised.
• Ability to ensure statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to.
• Ability to ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable goods and cleaning materials.
• Ability to ensure all crockery, cutlery, and drinking vessels are thoroughly cleaned.
