About the Role
Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Equipment Technician for the beautiful Barton Creek Country Club, a premier private club known for its exceptional service and hospitality. Join a team dedicated to delivering personalized service and upholding prestigious standards in a dynamic work atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Repair failing equipment and maintain records of parts and labor.
- Communicate equipment needs or problems to the Equipment Manager.
- Prioritize equipment repair and maintenance work.
- Perform safety checks, maintain a clean service area, and service equipment prior to use.
- Spot check equipment performance on the course and make emergency repairs as needed.
Requirements
- Two year certificate from a college or technical school, or three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics as required by the position and profession.
