About the Role
In this role, you will take on more responsibility and actively shape production processes in chemistry and chromatography. You will combine practical work at the pilot plant scale with responsibility for quality, processes, and the team, acting as the production manager's right hand and deputy in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Synthesis of chromatography matrices
- Work-up, analysis, and fractionation of reaction products
- Careful documentation of production and analysis steps according to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
- Safe and responsible handling of hazardous materials
- Compliance with and support of health, work, and hygiene protection standards
- Servicing, maintenance, and care of chromatography and other analysis systems
- Assembly
- Task planning
- Placing orders for production
- Waste management
- Supporting the production manager in daily business
Requirements
- At least two years of professional experience in chemical production
- Demonstrable experience in leadership or coordination tasks
- Good chemical laboratory practice, ideally in a GLP/GMP environment
- Confident, responsible handling of hazardous materials
- Careful, structured, and independent way of working
- Willingness for practical, partly physical work
- Team spirit, strong communication skills, and willingness to share and take responsibility
- Good MS Office skills
