About the Role

This role is a senior member of the in-house travel sales team, responsible for managing travel for a select group of high-touch, VIP clients while supporting the Director of Travel Sales and broader advisor team. The ideal candidate is an experienced travel advisor who can independently manage client relationships and deliver thoughtful, highly personalized service.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of high-touch VIP client accounts — managing the full sales cycle from inquiry through booking, including proposals and hotel/destination recommendations, with a book of $2M+ in annual travel.
  • Act as a senior resource to the broader advisor team, helping with complex client requests and sharing destination and product expertise.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and drive the adoption of AI tools and solutions — testing new approaches, implementing what works, and documenting/training others on it.
  • Support the Director of Travel Sales with VIP client coverage.
  • Coordinate ground transportation, excursions, and special requests for VIP clients.
  • Stay current on travel trends, hotel openings, and destination developments to provide clients with cutting-edge recommendations.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience as a travel advisor
  • Proven track record managing $1M+ in annual bookings
  • Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms)
  • Experience communicating directly with high-net-worth or VIP clients in a service or sales capacity
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, or similar collaboration tools
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required for full-time roles based in our New York City office. Fora is unable to sponsor or assist with U.S. work authorization.
