About the Role
The Social Media and Marketing Intern will create content to promote Ajaia and its products. This role involves cutting short-form video, designing graphics, writing engaging captions, and managing a weekly content calendar. Your work will be published under the company's name, with a focus on taste and judgment over formal credentials. You will utilize AI tools daily to enhance content creation speed and efficiency, with the expectation that all final decisions and creative direction remain yours.
Responsibilities
- Cut short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and X from long-form source material.
- Design graphics, carousels, and story frames for Ajaia's Instagram and product accounts.
- Write platform-native captions and posts tailored for each specific channel.
- Assist in building and maintaining the weekly content calendar to ensure consistent shipping.
- Develop repeatable AI-assisted content workflows to improve efficiency over time.
- Analyze weekly performance metrics, interpret their meaning, and propose actionable changes.
- Track and identify relevant formats, hooks, sounds, and trends, suggesting those worth trying.
- Organize and maintain the asset library for easy file access.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program or recently graduated.
- Working fluency with at least one video editing tool (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut).
- Working fluency with at least one design tool (Canva, Figma, Adobe).
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for content creation, including an understanding of their benefits and limitations.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to maintain a consistent voice across different formats.
- Demonstrated taste and the ability to articulate why a piece of content is effective.
- Genuine interest in AI and its impact on the workplace.
- Availability of 10 to 25 hours per week.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
