About the Role

Drive growth across existing and new partnerships while supporting strong member outcomes. Serve as the key point of contact for partners, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver effective governance, strategic planning, and day-to-day partnership performance in a dynamic, member-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance, commercial terms, and vendor risks.
  • Support retail acquisition strategies, strategic planning, and business growth objectives.
  • Develop joint annual and long-term partnership plans, including forecasts, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and manage partner relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Escalate issues as needed to support positive outcomes.
  • Lead partnership governance across monthly, quarterly, and annual forums.
  • Ensure clear decision-making, follow-through, and service delivery.
  • Coordinate Mercer’s input across internal teams such as product, marketing, finance, risk, and compliance.
  • Deliver agreed partnership objectives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve member engagement, operational efficiency, and digital uptake.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing and managing partnerships that deliver sustainable growth and value for businesses and members.
  • Experience in vendor governance and management, supported by contemporary vendor management tools.
  • Sound understanding of superannuation.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
