About the Role
As a member of the Paramount+ Content Systems Product team, you will help shape the automation strategy for our tools and systems that power global streaming experiences. Your mission is to learn the manual challenges of our partner teams and build solutions to solve problems effectively and at the right time. You will play a key role in keeping Paramount+ running efficiently as we grow to millions of new subscribers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Video and Content Operations to identify gaps in the content supply chain and develop an automation plan.
- Map content system connections, including data flows, handoffs, and dependencies, to identify automation opportunities.
- Guide the product development of Content Systems, focusing on automating manual, high-touch workflows for rights, title, and media asset management.
- Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance operational team efficiency, such as automated metadata extraction and AI-assisted QC.
- Create clear technical documentation, including scope, use cases, workflows, and sequence diagrams.
- Lead Agile scrum team activities like grooming, planning, and prioritization to ensure development teams have necessary resources.
- Align stakeholders across product, tech, and operations on delivery scope for global launches.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in software product management, with a focus on business value and trade-offs.
- Ability to map and visualize complex, interconnected systems to identify automation opportunities.
- Proven passion for building user-friendly workflow tools for internal teams.
- Deep comfort with complex technical workflow systems; engineering experience or AI/ML background is a plus.
- Strong interest in the streaming media world and content supply chain.
- Ability to build caring, trusting relationships across teams for smooth product operations.
- Extensive hands-on Agile experience and excellent communication skills.
