About the Role

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for performing merchandising functions within the dairy area to include stocking dairy products, rotation, ordering product, inventory maintenance and displays. Ensures that all aisles of dairy area are kept neat and clean at all times. Responsible for meeting customer needs through providing well-stocked and accurately priced merchandise to promote an optimal opportunity for sales.

Responsibilities

Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
Smile, make eye contact and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
Perform merchandising functions within the dairy area, including product stocking, pricing, signing, and inventory maintenance.
Return excess stock to the back room area.
Unload dairy merchandise from trucks and ensure damaged and reclaim items are handled properly.
Assist Front End operations in retrieving shopping carts, bagging, and carrying out customer orders.
Perform sanitation, safety, and pricing duties within the department in accordance with corporate and state regulations.
Maintain cooler and case temperatures.
Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Must be able to perform merchandising functions within the dairy area.

Must be able to assist Front End operations.
Must be able to perform sanitation, safety, and pricing duties.
Must be able to maintain cooler and case temperatures.
