About the Role

This role accelerates business value by bagging and/or stacking ice on pallets. Demonstrates "True North" attributes including customer focus, respect, clear communication, servant leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset. Leads and collaborates using lean principles and methodologies to drive process improvements and value creation.

Responsibilities

• Bag and/or stack ice on pallets neatly and squarely.
• Monitor product quality, checking for issues like improperly tied bags, foreign objects, or yellow ice.
• Learn to start and stop the production line as needed.
• Maintain a safe work area and report potential hazards to the supervisor.
• Clean the immediate work area and the entire facility according to the Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Adhere to the Code of Business Ethics, demonstrating honesty and integrity.
• Maintain high safety standards.

Requirements

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to count numbers.
• Proficiency in basic math.
• Ability to complete simple paperwork.
• Must be able to lift and stack up to 45lbs throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Must be able to work in a room with temperatures of 45 – 60 degrees.
• Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stand and walk.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
