About the Role
The Associate Account Executive plays a vital role in supporting sales growth in their assigned regional Showroom. This role offers an introduction into the A&D industry with a structured development path to becoming an Account Executive, combining showroom and field-based activity, client meetings, and product presentations. Success demands strong collaborative skills in a culture that values curiosity, initiative, creativity, and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Regional Sales on various sales activities to help guide the customer journey in pursuit of company goals.
- Collaborate with other areas of the business including Project Management, Design, Marketing, Customer Service, and Production teams to support the delivery of custom solutions and exceptional service from concept through installation.
- Support customer relationships and manage project details, ensuring timely communication and a seamless experience at every stage.
- Utilize the CRM, maintain accurate records of opportunities, leads, meetings, and follow-ups.
- Participate in client presentations, showroom events and trade activities to represent the brand and expand your professional network.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities and emerging market opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, design, or a related field preferred.
- 0 – 2 Years of related experience in sales, client services, or the design or fashion industry, ideally within a luxury or design-focused environment.
- Strong interest in design, craftsmanship, and creating client experiences.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with the confidence to initiate new relationships.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with genuine enthusiasm for working in a creative, high-performing environment.
- Must be able to remain in a sedentary position for extended periods of time during client meetings or presentations.
- Must be able to use telephone, computer, CRM systems, and internal ERP system.
- Ability to accurately distinguish colors and hues and successfully complete a color vision assessment based on the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue test.
