About the Role

EY is seeking experienced team members to provide privacy and data protection services to clients. This role involves leading and managing engagements, client delivery, and supporting the growth of EY's privacy and data protection services. You will advise clients on market trends and deliver specialist advice within multi-discipline teams, focusing on privacy, data protection, data governance, and cybersecurity programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engagements and build productive relationships with client stakeholders through project delivery.
  • Work across a portfolio of engagements with clients, responsible for day-to-day delivery of engagement activity contributing to quality, time, and budget targets.
  • Develop the practice by contributing to articles and thought pieces, and participating in public speaking engagements at industry events and conferences.
  • Work with prospective clients on the planning and delivery phase of engagements.
  • Create high-quality reports as part of a team for review by engagement and project leaders.
  • Identify sales opportunities and work with senior practice leaders and market leaders in creating proposals and marketing material.
  • Develop junior team members by sharing knowledge, mentoring, and coaching them, and leading by example.

  • Professional experience within a consulting or professional services organization delivering privacy and data protection engagements.
  • Ability to understand, assess, design, and deliver reviews and assessments, program enhancements, and services to meet UK and global privacy needs, alongside data protection programs such as data governance management, Data Loss Prevention programs, and technology rollouts.
  • Experience of designing remediation program roadmaps and change, including the ability to scope and plan multiyear enhancement programs.
  • Ability and proven delivery experience across areas including: risk identification and management, regulatory reporting, maturity assessments and compliance assessments, risk reporting operating model and strategy.
  • Broader cybersecurity experience beyond privacy and data protection, whether this is in security transformation, solution architecture, cyber resilience, etc.
  • Experience working with others in the development and delivery of complex client solutions and/or proposition development.
  • Must undergo and pass checks in line with SC (Security Check) clearance standards after joining EY.
  • Candidates must be a UK national or have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of five years and ensure that they have not spent more than six months outside the UK.
