About the Role
A talented Paralegal is sought to join the Hub and contribute to the development of Lexis+ UK, an online practical guidance and research product. This 12-month fixed-term role focuses on Banking & Finance, Restructuring & Insolvency, Financial Services, and Insurance practice areas. The role involves creating, reviewing, and enhancing practical legal guidance and supporting product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Commission and draft practical guidance in collaboration with practical guidance teams and the external commissioning team.
- Review new and existing content for quality and legal accuracy.
- Draft practical guidance content, including practice notes, checklists, and precedents.
- Collaborate with external authors on externally written content.
- Arrange and take notes at Consulting Editorial Board and other meetings, liaising with board members and authors.
- Provide input into the development of technical solutions with product teams to enhance guidance and research delivery.
- Assist with projects to improve the functionality of LexisNexis online materials, including testing and content updates.
- Participate in internal feedback activities and support feature development for the online legal platform.
Requirements
- Excellent academic qualifications.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Demonstrates interest in, and some knowledge or experience of, law and legal practice.
- Customer-focused with a desire to understand and respond to customer needs and feedback.
- Ability to communicate knowledge and information clearly and succinctly in plain English.
