About the Role
Phillips Lytle is seeking to hire a senior attorney with eight or more years of experience to support its national Immigration Practice. The role involves handling complex visa and permanent residency applications for U.S. companies and their foreign national workforce, including employment-based green cards, non-immigrant visas, H-1Bs, L-1s, O-1s, E-1, E-2, E-3, and TNs. The successful applicant will provide advisory services, manage client deliverables, prepare foreign nationals for interviews, respond to audits, provide I-9 guidance, handle federal administrative court matters, resolve border problems, and prepare relevant filings.

Requirements
- Eight or more years of experience
- Superior written, oral and analytic abilities
- Deep knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations and policies
- Experience handling employment-based green cards
- Experience handling employment-based non-immigrant visas
- Experience with H-1Bs
- Experience with L-1s
- Experience with O-1s
- Experience with E-1
- Experience with E-2
- Experience with E-3
- Experience with USMCA Free Trade Agreement (TNs)
- Experience with other laws governing ports of entry to the United States
- Portable business is preferred
- Experience managing client relationships is preferred
- Experience mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and specialized paralegals is preferred
